CAO Central Allocation Office GmbH (CAO) published the binding auction rules for the coordinated cross-border transmission capacity allocation in the CEE (Central Eastern Europe) region on 24 November 2010
CAO is starting the market participants’ registration for the CEE yearly auction 2011 on 24 November 2010. Offered capacities for the yearly auction will be published by 30 November 2010. The deadline for submission of bids for the yearly auction for physical transmission rights for 2011 is 7 December 2010, 12:00 (noon). The results will be published by 8 December 2010, 15:00. Nordic-Polish collaboration to open the SwePol Link for market participants in both countries
In March this year Polish and Swedish transmission system operators, PSE Operator and Svenska Kraftnät (SvK), signed a joint declaration to work for a market opening of SwePol Link, the 600 MW HVDC cable between the two countries, as soon as possible. The Agreement on the conection of the power systems of Poland and Lithuania
PSE-Operator S.A. and Lietuvos Energija AB (transmission system operators in Poland and Lithuania) informed that on February 12, 2008 an agreement on the connection between the power systems of Poland and Lithuania was signed.
