Announcement of PSE on the change of rules for determining CROs and CROz prices
21 December 2021, 13:37
PSE informs that the rules for determining the imbalance settlement selling price (CROS) and the imbalance settlement purchase price (CROZ) will change as of January 1, 2022.
According to the new rules, the CROS and CROZ prices will be determined based on: the contracting status in the BPKD/BO plan, the value of the imbalance settlement price (CRO), and the market value of the electricity price (RCE), as follows:
- In case of over-contracting: CROS = CROZ = minimum (CRO, RCE)
- In case of under-contracting: CROS = CROZ = maximum (CRO, RCE)
- In other case: CROS = CROZ = CRO
The rules for determining CROS and CROZ prices do not include any deviation between the price values (balancing component ΔB = 0 PLN/MWh).
The rules for determining CROS and CROZ prices are detailed in the items 4.3.1.3.4.4.7. and 4.3.1.3.4.4.8. of the Terms and Conditions for Balancing approved by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office.
